Connecting Claude over MCP

DDM Flow has a built-in MCP server, so Claude can work in your books: find what a client owes, create and send invoices, raise credit notes, log time and more. It is included on Pro and Ultra.

Connect Claude

1. In Claude, add a custom connector with the URL https://ddmflow.com/mcp.
2. Claude sends you to DDM Flow to sign in and approve it. If you belong to more than one business, choose one under Which business?; Claude will only ever see that one. The screen lists exactly what Claude will be able to do.
3. Press Connect to followed by your business name, and you are taken back to Claude.

To take access away, go to Settings → Security and press Disconnect beside Claude under Connected apps. It takes effect immediately.

Claude Code and other MCP clients

Clients that use a key instead: in Settings → API keys, press Create API key, name it and copy the key. It is shown once only, so store it somewhere safe. Then add the server, with your key in place of the example:

Revoke a key from the same page at any time; anything using it stops working at once.

Good to know

Claude's requests go through the same checks as the app's: DDM Flow works out the totals, not Claude, and it can reach only the business you chose. If your plan stops including it, Claude's requests are refused until you change plan under Settings → Plan & billing. Every tool the server offers is listed in the API & MCP reference.
